A bird in the hand....

First job after going round the cattle was to run Littlemiss down to catch the 7.20am train as she and a pal were off to Glasgow Uni for a look and a talk .
Back home to spread slurry while everyone else went to cut the hill lambs from this side .
After lunch ,got Kev to bring a couple of feed troughs down to the field I hauled the Hereford heifers to on Tuesday. They came to a bag of feeding no bother. The heifers in the other field are now coming to the troughs eventually,but still a bit spooky. Hopefully I will have them tamed down by the time they need to come home in October !
Back up the road and more slurry spreading. Got fed up by 8 pm so called it a day.
Spotted this pair in one of Mrs F's flower pots in the back garden.
