No time to waste

I have supported Anthony Nolan blood cancer charity for a number of years, either by running marathons to raise money or by arranging for students to provide massage at running events.

I am thrilled the charity has been named as the official charity for the 2014 London Marathon.

They are looking for 900 runners and expect to raise £1 million. It will add 10000 people to the Anthony Nolan register, giving blood cancer patients another 10000 chances of a successful transplant.

I spoke to the charity today to congratulate them and was told they have actually known for almost a year but of course couldn't release anything until today.
