Meadow (No longer)

Started on the job of converting the NoMowMay grass areas into things that look like lawns, albeit only from orbit.  We've a few garden openings coming up and there are only so many 'meadows' that suit a visitable garden.  E and I don't wholly agree on this count but reducing from four to two is the compromise.

This is the area that once served as a tennis court (and croquet lawn before that).  The light-seeking shape of the Ash tree on the left gives you some idea how much of an overgrown Stygian darkness this was when we arrived.  It is, of course, now the railway area.
