Cool Pilate

Cool Pilate is a picnic area near Audlum on the Shropshire Union Canal. It is a great mooring area where the towpath is wider with benches and BBQ stands provided for boaters and walkers to enjoy. It is provided and maintained by volunteers of the Shropshire Union Canal Society, with support from Canal and River Trust (British Waterways as it was).
Anyway we had a BBQ here yesterday with other boating friends celebrating 3 birthdays. A good time was had by all and the cruise back today helped clear my head. This blip was taken the morning after. We were up late and our friends had moved on.
