Crocheted Cushion Calamity

I really like learning to crochet again  I'm just not very good at it.  

As well as the individual stitch mistakes, the observant amongst you will have noticed that it took me the entire length of the creation of this stripy cushion to realise that I had lost a stitch every time I went back the other way.  So it's rather more of a quadrilateral than a square - so Sam tells me, with no lines of symmetry.....(God - it's the SATS getting to us!)

I seem to spend more time unravelling things than making them!  Ho hum.
