NY Botanical Gardens

Since an evening Bball game gets out somewhere around 10-11 PM we stayed over in NY near the stadium. Last time we did this  we went to the Bronx Zoo ( which was great) , but I wanted to look for something else to see  and found the NYBG's . These are a gem  . The gardens are a mile across and include an old growth forest, river, rock garden ,native plantings, 2 areas of conifers, collections of peonies , magnolias , azaleas, oaks , lilacs , rose garden......and fortunately  a tram. And a couple of restaurants. The main is of the main dome of the conservatory ( soon , cell phone and I cut off the top of the dome) and lily pond.The extra is the palm house in the main dome and part of the rock garden area. I would like to get back as the roses were missed , and we also missed the marsh area.
