Irish jig...

...is Cockney Rhyming slang for wig. As in, 'that blokes barnet must be an Irish jig'. It's also referred to as a 'syrup', as in, 'syrup of figs' - wig.

I walked past the local wig shop (yep, Lewisham loves a wig and weave shop) and inspiration hit me..... Irish. Jig. Wig.

My creative genius knows no bounds.....

Cronin and the shop owners were very obliging.
