One of the iris blooming in my garden today. It's been a good year for the iris, I have several that are blooming this year for the first time since I planted them, or they are blooming for the first time in a few years.
I hired another helper today, so I should be set for the season now. If the whole team is on a job, and we will be sometimes, there will be 7 of us working.
A long day today. Weeded 2 properties this morning, came home to take the wheel barrow off the truck and put 3 large planters on so I could drop them off to a client. Then headed for Blandford to meet with a friend of mine who wants some work done in her garden. We ended up talking for 2 hours and she is fine with the price I gave her, plus paying for travel. She lives almost an hour's drive from where I live. I was later getting away than I had planned and I wanted to stop at a nursery to get 3 rhododendrons for a job this week. I got to the nursery 5 minutes before they closed. The new job has a view of the ocean in the distance and is right beside a cove. It is also a 6 minute drive from a popular beach.
Sunshine today and more sun in the forecast for tomorrow.
