Work No 1059

The Scotsman Steps is a public installation by Turner Prize winner Martin Creed.   It's a staircase running 104 steps from Waverley Station to the Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh.  Each step is a different marble, and a different colour, from around the world.   My hotel was at the top of these steps and it's a long way up with a suitcase!
