Dahlia

Hutton in the Forest was our destination today.  The weather is dry but cloudy although the sun appeared later.  This dahlia was found in the Walled Garden at this hall.  We walked around the grounds first and saw the massive wild flower meadows, with paths cut through to allow visitors to watch the wildlife buzz around. The walled garden was amazing, plenty of colour but natural planting which made for a very relaxed informal environment.  I just loved this dahlia though, hence the blip. We were back early soI headed over to Crummock Water with the full camera gear (tripod/filters etc) for a late afternoon of what OH calls "Proper Photography!"
