Yellow field at sunset

Field of rapeseed on the Bristol side of Bath, looking west into the setting sun. (Yes, I've blipped this field a couple of times before).

Earlier on today, an ex-colleague who now lives in the US asked me if I had a photo of the University of Bath, taken from the city. Not being sure, I decided to walk up to Camden Crescent at lunchtime and take a photo of the University from there. Unfortunately, it turns out that it isn't visible at this time of year because of tree cover :-(. Trip wasted... though it was quite a nice walk.

I took a few other shots on the way back but the sky was quite cloudy so nothing seemed to work out very well.

As a result, I had to cycle out quickly this evening to get this field at sunset. I waited and waited for the sky to turn bright red, eventually giving up. Sod's law... by the time I got home it was perfect! Lol. Will wait longer next time!
