These lads don't hang about.
In 1969 this old road was replaced by a straight tarmac section down the hill. We moved to the farm about a mile away 28 years ago and had to use this ever decreasing track daily. The farmer has complained about the state of it for many years, sent dozens of complaints and damaged a number of farm vehicles along it's many potholes.
On Monday the council advised us that the old road was to be cleared down today and tomorrow it's being resurfaced. As it's our only access to civilisation they omitted to advised any of us up here how we should access the main road for the next 2 days. We did get a list of things we mustn't to do but as we can't get off the farm it doesn't really matter. What do these people think about?
