La Bonne Demuere

This picture is quite deceptive, looking as it does, like an almost deserted village street. Taken however from the epicentre of the medieval city tourist eating area! The day was palpitatingly hot, we had a look around the castle, which to be honest is 90% souvenirs and restaurants and 10% medieval. Spectacular from a distance and full of light and shade and tourists like ourselves. 
We lasted a few hours and ambled slowly back down in the 35° heat, scheduled to get to 39° tomorrow and Friday!
