Morecambe Bay

A trip into town to run a few errands and then a visit to a friend who is very unwell and receiving palliative care.

She was fortunately better than I had feared and managed a short walk along her road in the lovely sunshine.

We had a good catch up and I hope my visit helped her.

A quiet afternoon at home for me to reflect.

No 2 son phoned this afternoon. He was chipper but sadly we will be unable to meet in Edinburgh next week because of the proposed rail strike.
