It's a weed.

Purple toadflax from a Google search I believe.  It has seeded itself on our forecourt in the crack between the concrete and the wall.  For the last couple of sunny mornings about the time I set off in the car to walk Ginny it is catching the sun as it slants along the sideway of the house.  Might as well grab a Blip first thing in the morning I thought.
Had already spotted this one in Extra - after a night on the tiles this skyline dwelling squirrel was flat-out sound asleep.  After hearing me open a window he awoke and carried out some essential wake up scratching and cleaning balanced right on the edge of this high next door  rooftop.
