Aphrodite

This is Abutilon 'Aphrodite'. It was one of the new additions to my abutilon collection last year and currently has more than forty of these beautiful cerise pink flowers. 

I mentioned that I was expecting an exciting delivery this week and it, or rather they, have arrived. Yes - three new varieties of abutilon - a treat to myself using some of the compensation I got from the bank's failure to deal with my father's affairs in a timely fashion. When they come into flower I will probably blip them. The nurseryman tells me that a couple more of the varieties I'm interested in should also become available this summer.
