Repurposing Eggboxes

Pat has had a very positive reaction to her Jubilee crowns which she made out of paper egg boxes. The box used is a dozen eggs of large size.

Today’s entry shows the finished crown in some detail. She is now making a paper bowl for a first wedding anniversary present. 

The bowl is shredded box material which forms an aggregate for a mixture of PVA and water. She has used a plastic bowl as a former. This mixture does take several days to cure.

The design concept calls for interior to be lined in a silver coating.
