Birthday Bike II

After the initial delight at receiving his new bike for his birthday three weeks ago, the truimph of his first 25 mile ride and brutal disappointment of having it stolen (even though properly locked), the replacement bike from the insurers arrived today just as he got home from school.

He and Cyclops assembled it, fitted the waiting accessories, and cycled to swimming.  It was deemed a success.  Happiness restored.

Hopefully we'll manage to hold on to this one more than two weeks...

He is wearing his swimming trunks in this picture.  They ask you to go to swimming pool ready, so he had his trunks on under his PE shorts.  Only he forgot to take his PE shorts off the top and ended up in the pool with them - so he had to cycle back in slightly soggy trunks!  Never mind.
