Montacute House near Yeovil

Another glorious day and very warm! Breakfast in the sunshine then off to Montacute House. It’s a National Trust House which was great as we are members so got in for free! That saved us £28! It was a great place to visit and the guide was so informative. The bumpy hedge is called the Wibbly Wobbly Hedge. Some years ago the frost affected it and all the dead wood was cut off resulting in this when it grew back! On our way back to the campsite we stopped at Pageants Park and sat in the shade of the trees and read. It was just lovely. Going down to Bournemouth to see our family tomorrow then home on Thursday after a really wonderful holiday! Feeling sad to go home but grateful for the time we’ve had together!
