That skyline again

The Edinburgh-Glasgow line was first opened in 1842 and terminated at Haymarket station where the lines disappaear in the photograph. It wasn't until 1846 once the tunnel had been dug that it was connected to Waverley.

Apparently Haymarket station is the most congested in the Scottish rail network.

Another beautiful day today. For me spent in the office.
