Bird strike.

Well, maybe not a strike, maybe just working from home. I walked the complete length of the bird reserve twice, where I normally see ducks and gulls in their scores, and herons, egrets great and little, once in a while spoonbills, and sometimes more exotic things like stilts...  But today apart from a couple of sparrows and a distant red kite, nothing. Really, nothing. I was walking back towards the road when a lone egret circled and swooped in., Here he is.
