Hackberry Emperor

I was having lunch on the side of the river, watching Bank Swallows bring bug snacks to their nests, when I saw one hit this butterfly and knock it into the river.  It was fluttering, so I rescued it and by the time I finished lunch and was ready to jump back in the boat, it flew away.  
And just for a bit of ick-factor...this species feasts on dead animals.
