Survival shortbread.

Just waiting for the boys to come home from another hard (or so they keep telling me) day at school; some shortbread to munch while they fill me in on the day's highs and lows. I'm hoping for at least one high and not just that it's one day nearer the weekend!
Been a rather mixed day weather wise; and by mixed you know I mean mostly rain with the odd tantalising blink of sun just to raise your hopes before its pouring again.
We did manage another dry walk though which makes all the difference and have two nicely relaxed pooches. Think I better try and savour the peace as we are having my Mum's dog Lucy for the next week or so.....it's going to be mad!
