Rainbow chard in a bag

I’ve never wanted to grow vegetables - you can buy them in shops whereas beautiful flowers are so much better from the garden. I know vegetables are too but… Anyway I grew this rainbow chard, from a small tray of plug plants admittedly and although it had got rather large I thought I’d better try some.  Delicious! Am inspired by its squeaky freshness… I have a small tomato plant doing its best…so let’s see. 

Difficult day working through Covid but slowing down meant in some ways I paid more attention to detail.  Long US call in the evening with our writer going through a brochure we’re putting together.
