One week later

One week ago we attended a local street party to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.  Originally we weren't sure we would be going, because we had an alternative family party scheduled.  However, because of the poor weather forecast, the family party was put back one week, so we have been able to attend both.

The family party retained the Jubilee theme (complete with bunting and specially decorated cakes, as seen here) but also celebrated a couple of family birthdays.  The weather was very pleasant, and the party was excellent.

Back home too late to blip on the day, so back blipped on Monday.
