Spotted this little creature on a Hydrangea leaf earlier.  According to the app on my phone its a Wasp Beetle ... apparently its a wasp-mimicking longhorn beetle species in the genus Clytus.   Its harmless, but makes a wasp like buzz like noise when threatened.  Its been on the same leaf all afternoon.  Another cold and very dull day.  Have to keep putting extra layers on ... when will summer begin.  It will soon be the longest day!
