Hippo

Another wonderful day in Karongwe.  We watched the hippo for some time as they squabbled about position in the lake.
Later we had a very close encounter with a herd of elephants - one came right up to the vehicle and caressed the bonnet before deciding we were no threat and moving off!
The little brown headed kingfisher by the bird hide caught a bug and kindly brought it close enough for us to see.
