Old Fords meet

It was still very windy when we got up, though not wet as promised. Mr Rat was running a 15k race, starting at 2pm, I was marshalling for 3 runs, the first starting at 11am.
There were 5 of us to man the water station, make sure it was safe for a road crossing and then to direct the runners into a field. All morning old Fords, mainly Escorts, were passing in small groups and this one went by just befor the runners arrived. In 1985 we stayed in the left hand end of that house in the background with our kids and my mum and dad!
Mr Rat did his run but found it tough, the legs have not fully recovered from Covid.
A lazy evening.
