Come Dine With Me.

I put the hedgehog food inside its house to stop the cats getting to it, and thought I’d try putting the trail cam inside set to video. I didn’t have much hope that it would work, so I was delighted  when I got a series of enchanting video clips. This is a still from one of them as it returned to polish off the last morsels. 
I had a walk up to my patch this afternoon. It’s amazing how much things have grown in the short time since I was last there; the trees are all in full leaf, the grass and bracken have grown tall, and the farmers were busy turning the hay that has been cut over the last few days. Mainly the usual suspects, but there seemed to be plenty of Whitethroat, (extra) and I was pleased to see a number of Swift swooping across the sky.
