Back on MY beach

Soooooooo...................... after a mammoth journey back to St Ives yesterday. Roadworks everywhere and a 3 hr delay because the M5 was closed between Junction 27-28 we eventually made it home in 12 hours.

…..............And yes, it was worth it. It's like being in the Caribbean. The sun is shining and the sky is blue and the sea is crystal clear. Why on earth would anyone go abroad?

Last night Ann almost took me on a walk down to the beach to see the sunset but she couldn't be bothered. She stayed in, drinking wine instead. BUT guess who was down on MY beach last night?.............. BORIS? It seems like he's on a bit of a staycation here and was spotted having a dip in the sea? It's a beautiful evening. Maybe we'll pop down later on to see if we can spot him. Apparently he had a bit of a splish, splash, splosh down on MY beach?!!

My human can't believe how hot it is. In fact it was so hot on our sun terrace this afternoon that she couldn't sit there so she spent an hour and a half in our communal courtyard tidying it because it was in the worst condition she's ever seen it in the 20 years she's been here. But she must not rant!!!

Oh and she went for a swim at the Leisure centre this morning and all seems good with her month long membership, so her major RANT the other day was probably completely unjustified. Lol!! Here starteth a month of my human doing some form of exercise every day that doesn't just involve her taking me for a walk.

We went to Hayle this afternoon. Asda, Home Bargains & Lidl. I had to wait in the car. And then I got a walk where all the bunnies live. Even though I could smell them, I couldn't actually see one single bunny. Booo hoooo.

I'm lying flaked out on the sofa now (see extras). It's not like I've been on a mammoth expedition today but I think the stress of being in the car for 12 hours yesterday and the heat today, has worn me out.

Toodles. xxx
