Bumbly Bee on Lamb's Ear
We have quite a large patch of Lamb's Ears (Stachys Byzantina) in the front and it's been buzzing with bees for a while now. it's been a lovely day and the sun was bright this afternoon so it was quite contrasty to photograph but it's shown up the textures nicely.
I went down to Jack's patch, the local garden centre with the head gardener to get some geraniums for pots. We haven't done them for a couple of years of course. I had to go because the head gardener thinks geraniums can be a variety of colours, whereas you and I know the only colour for geraniums is bright red. Everybody else knows that too and I struggled to find enough bright red ones and had to get a few white ones too. Should make a bit of a contrast.
