Escapes

I struggled with the Mono Monday theme today so in end decided just to walk down to the shop (we ran out of milk) and see what took my fancy on the way. This single escaping rose did.

I've been doing some gardening today too. Somehow I managed to cut the cable of the hedge trimmer as I was working on some rampant jasmine. Grrr! I managed to escape an electric shock though.

I've also been sorting through some old images to see if anything decent had escaped my notice. I was quite taken by the extra, another shot of the poppy field I took over a week ago. Doesn't time fly. It's almost straight out of camera, apart from the crop and cloning out of a parking sign. It probably gives a better feel of the scale of the field and what was going on than the original blip on the day did.
