Emerging

First full day back home and the time is - of course - spent on post-holiday chores. Fortunately it’s dry, sunny and decidedly breezy, so several loads of washing are successfully line-dried. 

But for this, we don’t leave the house, so garden blips need to suffice. Yet again, I decide on alliums - we seem to have so many different types, and neither of us can remember what they’re called or when we planted them. Far from the brash purple sunbursts of last month, these are delicately understated, especially in their present state.
