Tobermory

The view that has made Mull one of the destinations in the Hebrides.
Yesterday we had changed our return ferry to Uist from tomorrow to today as the forecast was so dire.
We caught the ferry across to the mainland by the skin of our teeth and headed back slowly towards Mallaig, hoping that our ferry was not cancelled. It wasn't - probably to Tricia's regret half way across the Minch as the passage was quite lumpy.
Arisaig provided a picnic lunch and Mallaig a bookshop for something to read on the boat.
Getting home at 1030pm was a relief although having left a skylight open, the house was not as warm as one might have liked.
