(Temporary) home, sweet home

The chef in action. Certainly the best weather of the day but thereafter the wind dropped and we were (re-)afflicted with midges agan, retreating early to bed.
Today was a tour of the locale and included burial mounds and a Viking ship burial along with a search for coffee. The rain was on and off all day and there was little sun to see.
The most annoying thing was the fact that our air matress seems to have sprung a small leak and so although one starts the night in comfort, by the morning the ground is pressing through. Not much chance of a repair or replacement out here.
