Daybreak from my terrace

Only a couple of weeks to the shortest day. I know the coldest days are ahead but I don’t mind. When we get hard frosts we get nice days to follow and after all it’s winter
Several hours in at the hospital. I am certainly justified in refusing to take my friend home last week, all sorts of problems have arisen. Quite worrying really, feel sad for her but she doesn’t really take it all in. Head scan to day as well as an infusion of iron.
Another cold day my fire has been really cranking so my house is really warm
