Emergency Blip

The Peony I put in a vase last week drooped appealingly, so I decided it would be my photo for today. I think it looks a bit like a poppy after it dropped some of its petals.

Our area is experiencing flooding in the areas around our rivers; we have recently had a record level of rain; we even have record new snow in our mountains recently. News just reported that 2022 is the wettest Spring in Portland ever.

I slept in late, and it felt good. We finally tested negative for Covid...our first action was to go shopping for groceries at Trader Joe's. Little Miss Ellie will be coming back over tomorrow then our life will return to "normal."
