Promise of Life

We found what we believe is a brown Thrasher’s nest and egg in the blueberry bushes! They do love the berries!
We went to church then to lunch at our favorite little hole in the wall Chinese place. The food is fresh and good! We go most every Sunday.
Then we came in home. Neither of us feel great and the temp was in the 90’s F with a heat index of 108’ F today! 2 of our little turkeys apparently succumbed to the heat before we realized it. They are fragile and hard to raise in the best of situations.
We waited till late but we did manage to pick a few berries. Jessica and sone friends may come soon and pick.
