Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

By NannaK

Whyte Strand

Part of my iPad series of Hockney inspired drawings to record this place this summer.    As I’m still assuming it is the last.

I’ve explained before but to anyone who hasn’t seen it…Whyte is H’s mother’s maiden Name (Scottish) and Strand is my mother’s maiden name (Swedish) and our place here has a great white shell beach (strand)  so there you have it.   You can see this from the top of the wharf.

Otherwise, a little walk, a sit on the beach, a little work on the chair that still needs more paint. And the drawing…which takes more than 1 day.  I think most artists know It’s always a good idea to leave a work and come back to it another time with a fresh eye.    I hope that’s ok with blip somehow. And the iPad drawings can be conveniently changed any time!
Which is so cool.

Warmer today…Cathy came for coffee (extra) so another photo from the deck.  Social 2 days in a row!  I think she’s done with blipping…sadly for us, not her thing.   I’d love to see her photos here.
