I Live Over There

Today I had a very different trip over to Oban. Friends that I've not seen in waaaaay too long (best part of 10 years) are on a grand tour of Scotland and today the planets aligned and we met up in Oban. This meant I got to play tourist for the day and visited McCaig's Tower (see extra) for the first time in probably 20 years! I'd forgotten how good the view was from up there. It's the ideal spot to explain where Mull is and the general direction of our house.
It was brilliant to have a wee catch up and sounds like they've been enjoying seeing the far reaches of mainland Scotland over the last few days. Hopefully it won't be as long as 10 years before I see them again!
