New neighbor

It was born in my neighbor’s yard two days ago. Its mom was away for a little bit, foraging around somewhere.

As cute as it is, It joins what is rapidly becoming an unmanageable population of deer (re the density of the animals per square mile). They do quite a bit of damage to the underwood and, of course, to everyone’s landscaping and gardens…

And no, i don’t live in the country: our house is 30mns away from the White House in Washington DC!
