Wasp

I think this is a vespula, but feel free to correct me.
We have a pond and a fountain in our garden. The border of the pond is flat, so birds can get out of it. But the fountain has higher stone walls, so in the early days it happened that birds drowned. We added a mesh with integrated swimmer, so birds can drink the water, but not swim. Hence no birds drown anymore.
Of course the water is also used by other animals. In this case it is a (paper) wasp.
As long as they stay away from us and are not angry, we will leave them alone too :)
