Cake

We had a family barbecue in a local Country Park for my birthday today (although my birthday is actually tomorrow). My daughter Lucy made me this fantastic birthday cake, here pictured at her house before it made a car journey and sat in the sun for an hour or two! It was a wonderful cake, so nice that I had two slices. My cakes never turn out like this but I’ve got her to give me some tips so will try!
We had a lovely time, the boys teamed up with some other boys and played football, there was also badminton and lots of opportunity to sit in the sun. It was a lovely day, so warm and sunny.
