I slept amazingly well last night, especially considering my air mattress decided to deflate. Annoyingly this meant I missed breakfast ( we all missed it ). So we packed up our stuff and went to the circuit for lunch. There is a real party atmosphere there this year, brass bands playing, family zones, horrid thumping disco bars, I suspect there will be even more next year when it is the 100th anniversary of the first event. I’m sure we’ll cope.

Packing up early meant we legnit as soon as the race finished, we missed most of the traffic and made the tunnel in 4 hours. I’m writing this from under the sea!
