Not quite the wildlife I was looking for!

The ancient Drift trackway was just a muddy track when I first moved to the village some years ago. Since then, it's been covered with hardcore to make it easier for the farm vehicles which need to access the fields on either side of it. It's a popular walk with hedgerows, scraps of woodland and some big skies once you get onto what counts as a ridge in Cambridgeshire.  (The field views have featured in many of my blips).

This afternoon the usual contingent of dog walkers and occasional cyclists were joined by a trail bike and two quadbikes.
