A derelict petal.......

.....but is it the rose or the peony I had in the vase?  Not sure but I expect the rose.  Just caught my eye this morning.  Another day of planting out things that have been far too long in their pots.  Particularly the sunflowers that were bought to raise money for Ukraine.  There'll be a competition for the largest, tallest etc. etc in September....!  It's what our village does.
