Wave Generator

…made several years ago, after a larger model in the old Danish Aquarium at Charlottenlund near Copenhagen. Having been stowed away in our cellar, I reactivated the machine in today’s warm weather. The electric motor drives an almost triangular piston up and down and thus generates the waves. It’s fun to vary the speed of the motor and see the waves enhancing or neutralising each other. So a bit of marine atmosphere is brought to the inlanders.
