Dressing Up.

Some people - me, for instance,  got up this morning and dressed appropriately for the weather as forecasted for the day and some people did this.... Steampunk!   So who is to say that me pursuing my hobby of photography and paying for the privilege to photograph these folk is any more or less mad than them pursuing theirs.  Don't answer!
A not very common experience for me to go to an event for the sole purpose of photography.  It was held at The Museum of Power which I went to a short while ago to photograph "stuff" for our CC themed competition!  Maybe I do it more than I thought but I quite like this homey little Museum.  I didn't achieve any great shots but it is thought provoking to see this kind of event and the people attending it.  Lots to ridicule you may think but at the end of the day ....where's the harm...well there is the tackiness of some of the costumes. 
Not sure what is strangest - the whole family approach or the lone family member dressed up and the rest not.
I think there's material for a sitcom around Steampunk stuff - wish I could write well.
Extra - Baldrick as Steampunk....who knew!
