Amberley Castle Hotel

Where we stayed the night with dinner. Invited to share my brother-in-law n his wife’s 40th Wedding Anniversary. A beautiful 900 yr old building with ruins in the grounds. Good dinner and great breakfast.

Super place to stay in West Sussex. I did hear the white peacock calling in the morning at about 6am. It’s such a plaintive call, almost eerie! He was displaying his tail feathers to his mate. He was also cheeky enough to pinch food from the outside tea tables yesterday.
