Jubilee Beacon

I spent the day helping my mum set up her jubilee party.

Later, dashed home for a shower and change of clothes as we got invited to the village get together. There was a jazz band playing and although I’m not a jazz fan, they played the old classics, which was great to sing along to.

At 9.45, the beacon was lit and the band played the national anthem, which was very moving.
